WOT Triggers are designed to prevent fully automatic operation. The hammer is released by the locking bar, which strikes the firing pin, triggering the primer on the brass casing. As a result, only one bullet is discharged with each pull of the trigger.

Wide Open Triggers’ patent-pending spring-locking bar adds to its uniqueness. The hammer, reinforced with Hardox steel, copes with daily shocks and impacts, allowing it to withstand the constant beating from the bolt carrier group (BCG) in an AR-15 rifle or pistol.

Wide Open Triggers are not capable of fully automatic fire. The hammer, released by the locking bar, strikes the firing pin, activating the primer on the brass casing, ensuring that only one bullet is fired per trigger pull.
